Partnerships

Our Relationships Matter

Relationships are foundational to the PenBay structure. Like you, we value relationships over all else. We have developed relationships with the best professionals in their industries, from accountants to attorneys, title officers to bankers, property managers to home-care workers, drivers to case managers. We make these relationships available to you and your loved ones and manage them for you.

We work collaboratively with our corporate partners to better serve our grantors and beneficiaries. We partner with investment, custodian, legal, and tax teams in multiple geographies, and we can engage, hire, or refer as needs arise.

It is important to us to have a truly open architecture. This means that, provided they have done well by you, we partner with any asset manager, investment advisor, or financial planner with whom you have a valued, long-standing relationship. We work with your advisors and report a productive, comprehensive financial picture back to you and your beneficiaries.

At PenBay, we recognize it takes a team. All of our partners are an integral part of the process to meet our grantors and beneficiaries’ goals and objectives.

Investment Partnerships

PenBay partners with independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and custodians whose services are available on numerous platforms. We work diligently to make this transition seamless, delivering superior service.

Special Needs Partnerships

PenBay is well-versed in Special Needs Trusts, which are estate planning vehicles that provide access to trust funds without risking the benefits provided by public assistance programs, which are predicated on income and asset restrictions. Special Needs Trusts, when administered correctly, do not count against applicants for qualifying purposes. PenBay has experience managing government benefits to help protect and preserve the public assistance vital to your beneficiaries and their quality of life.

Legal & Tax Partnerships

Our legal and tax partners are integral to helping us meet both our goals and our objectives, serving as an extended resource for optimal tax planning, efficient conflict, and dispute resolution, or asset and estate administration.
