Nikki Sloan is the Chief Operating Officer at Peninsula Bay Trust Company, where she brings extensive executive level strategic leadership and 30 years of operational expertise across the financial services sector. She is a committed people manager, skilled financial strategist, and systems-oriented thinker, passionate about envisioning the big picture, digging into messy details, and weaving it all together to empower teams to achieve their goals. She emphasizes partnership, tailored solutions, and a growth mindset, and consistently frames client service as something earned through reliability, transparency, and thoughtful problem solving.
Her background includes experience in risk management, marketing, investor relations, commercial lending, business banking, consumer banking, and treasury management, giving her a strong foundation to scale and operationally optimize intimate and large public and private financial services companies. Prior to joining Peninsula Bay Trust Company, she was the head of growth & strategy and commercial lending at a community bank, and the COO for the 2nd line of defense at Fortune 100 bank.
Outside of work, Nikki is currently involved in Financial Women of San Francisco, Board Director of Pacific Coast Banking School, and Board Director Interface Children & Family Services. She has also advised several early-stage start-ups on compliance, operational, and banking matters and served as a community bank council member with Prosight. In her free time, you can find Nikki with her nose in a book, on the trails of Mount Tamalpais in Marin, and playing golf.
